Trailer Mounted Rockbreakers - A Semi-Mobile solution for oversize managagement underground

15 - years ago Astec-BTI initially developed a trailer mounted Mobile Rockbreaking system to work at the LKAB mine in Sweden. With advances in tele-remote capabilities Astec-BTI has redeveloped this product for the Australian underground mining market.
The trailer mounted system is self-contained, requires mine site electricity for power,  uses a heavy-duty trailer for mobility, has stabilisers and a latch plate for stability, radio remote control for localised control and is tele-remote ready for surface control by either our tele-remote system or through others.

The semi-mobile system is ideal for a mines that; aren't always extracting on all levels or ore passes at one time, want to eliminate oversize blockages in crushers, need to limit the size of materials in ore-passes to reduce ore-pass damage. As the system is mobile, maintenance can be safely performed in the workshop.
